Reclaimed Stone Outdoor Table
Crafted using reclaimed quarry stone, structural steel and hand finished timber, this outdoor table was built to create a durable dining space with natural character and long lasting function.
The Brief
The brief was to create a unique outdoor dining area using reclaimed stone as the foundation for the table and seating. The finished space needed to feel solid, practical and in keeping with the surrounding garden, while turning the raw materials into a feature that could be used every day.
The Challenge
The main challenge was working with heavy, irregular reclaimed stone and turning it into a usable outdoor structure. Each stone section needed to be positioned, drilled and supported correctly before the steel and timber elements could be added. The design had to balance weight, stability, comfort and character without losing the natural feel of the materials.
